I believe that every marriage of freedom is wonderful in the beginning, including international marriage, but marriage business, which people just wish to get some benefits except love. I also believe that people never tell you their marriage with lots of problems when they are divorced in China. But the figures show that the most of international marriages was failed. So let’s try to explore the details of international marriage.
 “How to judge which nation you are, which one is the basest?” one teacher asked her students in the US College. After discussion, all of them agree that it’s culture.
 However, we should admit there is culture shock in international marriages anywhere, but sometimes, it is help. Sometimes, it is more troubles. When someone starts falling in love, culture shock is pretty attractive and interesting, even exciting. Everyday has fresh things to experience and it’s never boring. In fact, people who got married understand that there are lots of things besides love in marriage. There are lots of differences between couples of mixed marriage, such as, how to educate children, how to treat parents, how to define marriage, etc. Perhaps, so many people think they can understand the differences and interest in them, but do you really know what the difference between understanding and adopting is.
 Culture shock means you are not really understand each other deep; Culture shock means you need longer time to get to know each other, running-in, as one new car, during your marriages. Culture shock means you must suffer when the opposites can’t understand you or compromise with the opposites because none is right or wrong.
 I can show you some data, the situation about Chinese international marriage. As assessment, over 5% international marriages from China, it means over 4 hundred thousand Chinese get marriage to foreigners every year; there into 75% are Chinese girls. Since 2005, the rate of international marriage increase sharply, but to be shocked, the rate of divorced international marriage over is than rate of international marriage and in some marriages which husband is Chinese, the divorced rate is much less.
 If you want international marriage with strong motivation or vanity, you must be failed, no matter who you get married to. In Chinese, many people consider marriage is about reputation and a good change to change their life, especially, they think it’s honorable that getting married to foreigner. You can realize it through they don’t want to divorce and suffer it when their marriages were failed, just because they are afraid to lose face.
 Maybe you don’t believe the data, you think every love is special and you trust wonder is available. I support you, but the data represents the majority’s marriage and every couple believes they are special at the beginning. Of course, everyone can be minority who get perfect marriage just if you are enough lucky and smart.

 Before marriage, give more time to get to know each other, don’t decide your marriage in hotheaded. Actually I realize getting to know each other, it’s more difficult than your imagine. The relationship between love affair and marriage is similar to the connection between interview and work. You never really know it before you join it.
 So after weeding, containing each other is the most important. Maybe you are disappointed if you hoped the perfect and special marriage. Please don’t try to find your loss back because that’s impossible. Don’t try to change opposite in your way because culture is burned into soul, none can’t change it. 
 Adjust your attitude and stop complaining when you are in inconsistent. You should realize and admit the culture shock is existed and can’t prevent. Understand and respect the opposite’s culture and find out the best way to solve it, but you should know it’s not all of problems can be solved. Enjoy it if you can’t figure out it.
 You admire the foreign way and style; actually, you just see the good side, never pay attention to the opposite side. As one celebrity said, when you have Chinese cultural brain, never believe you can think deep in foreigner’s way. 
 Be careful, if you fall in love with foreigner, I really wish you, but you must know you have to prepare more energy and patience to take care of your love. As one who got married to foreigner said, it’s never boring. It is fresh and should be mended every day. 
 I’m not sure if it is worth of paying more to get happiness. Everyone is responsible for their decisions.
